This is not directly related to the objective of this blog, but could not think of anywhere else to share this
Three weeks ago,I was caught up with organizing entertainment and food for my college alumni meet and had to go through the ordeal of finding suitable games that would keep the crowd entertained and also get them interacting. Here is a list of the games I compiled and planned for, unfortunately we didn't have time for them all.Hoping someone else will find these useful:-)
1.People Bingo :It is always a 'must be' ice-breaker game and so much fun to play.Basically the organizer makes up a bingo sheet with each box containing the description about one person in the gathering and then people need to go around and figure out which boxes correspond to which person and get their signature within the box.The person with the maximum number of signatures is the winner. Most often the boxes may correspond to multiple persons in the gathering and also one person may satisfy the description in multiple boxes.
2.Gunny sack race :We used to play this in kindergarten but is soo much more fun to play with adults:-)
3.Mummy Wrap :Teams of two are given two rolls of toilet paper and one member from each group needs to wrap the other member using the roll like a mummy, only need to ensure there are no gaps and it does not fall apart before the time runs out.The one that finishes first or finishes the most before time runs out wins.Balancing balloon between the legs and crossing over
4.Three legged race :The game where you tie two people's leg together such that they each have one free leg and one shared leg:-) and need to compete in a distance race:-)
5.College quiz-A crazy quiz about college trivia which surprisingly most people don't forget cause we often tend to have a lot of memories around these small things that made our college so unique:-).
