Raw Banana Poriyal



Ingredients
Vazhakai(Raw Banana)-2 small,cut into thin or small pieces
Onions-1 small sized, finely chopped
Garlic Cloves-about 2 finely chopped
Turmeric powder-1 teaspoon
Chilly powder-2 teaspoons
Black Pepper Powder-1/2 teaspoon
Coriander Powder-1 teaspoon
Red Chilly-1 small
Mustards-1 teaspoon
Jeera-1 teaspoon
Oil
Salt –as per taste
Recipe
1. To a hot pan,add about one table spoon oil.
2. Add mustard seeds,jeera and the red chilly to the oil once it gets hot.
3. Once the seasoning splutters,add the chopped onions and fry till it turns golden brown
4. To the onions,add the chopped garlic.
5. To it add salt,turmeric powder,chilly powder,coriander powder .
6. Once the masala cooks,add the vazhakai and mix well.
7. Add some water if necessary and cook it on the flame until the raw banana cooks.
8. Before you off the stove,sprinkle some pepper powder .
This tastes awesome with rasam rice and even plain dal rice.Yumm!
